Bora Bora Jute Rugs

Bora Bora is a braided jute flat weave woven in India. Jute is one of the most widely cultivated crops in the world with applications in clothing, textiles, and geo-textiles. The crop is considered to be fairly easy on the environment as it has a short growing cycle compared to trees (6-8 months), and requires no artificial fertilizers in its cultivation. Our Jute area rugs are also environmentally friendly due to their biodegradable nature.

Bora Bora is available in three color ways: sunrise, a golden hued weave; Volcano, a light ash hued weave; and starfish with alternating golden and ash highlights.

This weave is available in any of our eight wide cloth border collections including borders in cotton, jute, linen and wool. Each rug is custom designed for you.

In addition, small variances in color are common in natural fiber materials. Differences in growing climate and conditions from year to year produce plants with slightly different characteristics. We recommend that you purchase samples prior to ordering.
