Notes on Use Notes on Use:
  • Use in a dry, indoor environment
  • Never steam clean or wet shampoo these materials
  • All fibers, both dyed and undyed, will change over time - especially when exposed to direct sunlight
  • All plant fibers will reflect certain natural variations such as those in color or fiber thickness
  • Pattern Differences of up to 2" in the warp and weft can occur due to varuations in fibers
Broadloom

These weaves are available as broadloom for $31.35 per square yard. Broadloom pricing does not include shipping.

We recommend the direct glue-down procedure for wall to wall installation. It is important to use a high quality floor adhesive with a low water content.

We do offer a floor adhesive designed for our flooring products. It is available in a 4 gallon pail which covers on average 55 square yards. The price is $55.50 plus shipping, and this product must be shipped via truck.

Bahia offers an affordable and appropriate alternative to our European weaves for customers searching for a classic large sisal bouclé weave. Bahia sisal rugs are woven of 100% Brazilian plantation grown sisal in a considerable weave that weighs in at nearly six pounds per square yard. We offer Bahia in a native and light honey colorway.

The third weave presented here is the Bonpresso Heavy Flat Weave. This rug is woven in the same materials as Bahia, but its flat woven structure makes this rug more suitable for areas with heavy furniture loads as there is no pile to crush.

Either weave is a great choice offering Merida Meridian's legendary quality in an economically priced weave. Like Planta, Bahia is rated for residential and office use, and is backed with a latex backing. The collection is available in all of our edge finishes in both standard and custom sizes.
