- All plant fibers will reflect certain natural variations such as those in color or fiber thickness

Chroma composition sisal rugs are made of the same high quality sisal as our Chroma Basic Series, but Composition is woven in a larger, heavier bouclé weighing in at over five pounds per square yard.
Natural fiber rugs are similar to fine art in that they both look best when presented in a fine frame. Our border collections are second to none in the industry, and in fact, we often sell loose binding to our Designer customers for custom work on other textiles.
Composition's classic bouclé weave structure, combined with its earthy colors and great border options ensure that your new rug will add both visual and textural interest to your décor.
We offer composition in six distinctive colors backed with a 25 ounce per square yard heavy contract latex backing. This weave is rated for either residential or light contract use.

Composition is part of our Designer Series which includes sisal rugs woven in Belgium, and finished as custom rugs in New England by the skilled craftsmen of Merida Meridian who have been working with custom natural fiber rugs since the nineteen seventies. Other natural fiber rugs in the Designer Series include weaves in sisal wool blends, jute, seagrass, hemp, woven paper and woven paper wool blends.

In addition, small variances in color are common in natural fiber materials. Differences in growing climate and conditions from year to year produce plants with slightly different characteristics.
