Jacquard Sisal Rugs

Our Jacquard Rugs are woven in Belgium of East African Sisal. The Diamond and Chevron patterns are woven into the rugs using a special jacquard loom.

The pattern is accentuated with alternating natural warp yarns, and either nutmeg or Belgian chocolate weft yarns. These weaves feature a relatively low profile that is well suited for furniture loads. They are similar to our Zanzibar weave, but use thinner yarns.

The rugs in this collection are rated for light contract use, and are backed with a contract latex backing. No further padding is required.

Jacquard is part of our Designer Series which includes sisal rugs woven in Belgium in highly innovative weaves as well as other natural fiber rugs in sisal wool blends, jute, seagrass, hemp, woven paper and woven paper wool blends.

Coastal Style does its best to display accurate colors online, but the simple fact remains that on-screen color representations may vary from the actual rug due to differences in computer display properties. In addition, small variances in color are common in natural fiber materials. Differences in growing climate and conditions from year to year produce plants with slightly different characteristics. We recommend that you purchase samples prior to ordering.
