Malawi's distinctive and unique pattern is created with an unspun heavy weft yarn that alternate above and below tightly spun warp yarns. The structure is then supported with a heavy contract latex backing. The result is a truly unique and beautiful floor covering.
Malawi has loads of texture, and beautiful color shades. The rug will tend to grab your attention as you enter a room. A careful eye is required to ensure that its strong visual appeal doesn't overpower other design elements in your room.
Malawi's heavy latex backing provides dimensional stability to the weave, and makes further rug padding unnecessary.
